I've got an idea. :) Why don't us parents get paid For having kids?! Like...so much $ per kid that we raise? Now, that would make sense..AND we get a tax deduction for the living expenses incurred for each child.? How about it? Now, that would be investing in future generations. Oh yeah..also, how about a special break on college tuition for families with more than one child? While we're at it, we need to bump up the amount of nationally recognized holidays given to parents. Is really only one mother's day and one father's day per year tooting the parenting horn enough? (I know that the basic premise to this whole idea flies in the face of the Eco-sciences. It's just that, hey folks..parenting is a tough job. That's all I'm sayin'.

We're here at Ruta Maya and Shayla is really wanting to be a part of the adult Salsa lessons going on. She's been removed from the circle once already. :)

If parenting was a popularity contest....I'd be in trouble. Fortunately, being popular, while being enjoyable & most certainly preferred, is a time and situation specific benefit that changes more frequently than the wind changes direction. Luckily, being popular is not my main parental focus. I suppose I shall get used to this. :)

Ok. So, our 31/2 y.o. daughter will not stop digging holes in the yard. So we're on our way to pick up 1/2 a yard of soil for her to play with.

@RangerDenni wow! I helped someone move not too long ago that did exactly the same thing. It was the keys to their rental truck. T They proceeded to unknowingly stow the box in the smack dab middle of this huge packed truck only later after locksmith & gig was done to unpack said box. BUT it looks like you found the box b4 it was totally packed?

@llofte hallelujah! :) I can only imagine....and not very well...as I'm a dude, but alas a 'dude' and father who watched it all 1st hand 4 my own daughter. Y'all's job looks hard as hell!!

@docmurdock One can't help but play Technology Leap Frog unless you have an endless supply of dinero dedicated to tech play & investmnts. Would b Gr8 and I'd b at it 24/7!! :)
