iTunes movie Streaming to Apple TV Update

A few days ago now I had posted a little piece complaining about the quality of the movie and show streaming via iTunes to Apple TV. Upon further troubleshooting I have discovered that the problem was most likely stemming from a 3rd party vendor issue that iTunes is in partnership with to stream some of it's media offerings. I am a novice at these things and hence cannot be certain. I can say however that I vetted my in-house Wi-Fi system as well as did several Internet speed tests, and talked to one of my ISP's technicians about the issue.
The resultant hypothesis was that the dip in service was most likely due to a 3rd party server that supplies media data through the iTunes store. There you have it. I'm not sure whether I'm right or wrong, but I felt it necessary to correct my implied jab at the seemingly wrong company. In this case that would've been (iTunes) Apple.
The movie we had issues being able to seamlessly watch was 'Salt'(lots of pauses and indefinite load times (with a pretty fast Internet connection (11.65Mbps))). Since then we have watched several other features off of iTunes with not the slightest of issues. Who knows? Any opinions (shade-tree Tech or otherwise)?
