@butchjax I know it's a pain to re-input all your account data--I don't like doing it either--, but a restore 'as new' will take care of that kind of stuff.
Have you already tried a 'hard reboot'? (Hold down the sleep/wake button and the Home button at the same time until you go through the 'slide to turn off' screen and the black screen and Keep Holding them down until you see the Apple Logo appear in the middle of the black screen, then release). Try this, if you haven't, and see what your phone is like afterwards.
If you've already done this, then your best, quickest, most successful option is to restore as a 'new phone'. That will most certainly fix it. Pain in the ass, but it will rectify the issues.
